oooooohhhhhh

i'm tempted to tear freud to pieces in an argumentbased essay for my english class. my scissors would be c.s. lewis and christianity. but do i dare bring religion into the classroom for discussion? even IF i successfully disprove THE most influential thinkers of this century, will i get eaten up alive when i'm getting workshopped in spite of it? will they be able to see beyond whatever qualms they have with religion and understand the implications of what i say? or will they tear ME to pieces? i wonder.
