why do intellectuals automatically assume that their brains wont allow for such an illogical concepts as FAITH or RELIGION or GOD? in fact, why do they cringe from reading those very words? i hear only the lamest and most disappointing excuses from some of the most cerebral people i know. what is that...i used to play that same game until i realized that it was a game. so yeah, who am I to judge...but still. i mean, atleast come up with something better than "...inconsistencies in the bible..." or "...crazy fundies condemning me to hell..." or "...religion is a crutch..." or "...6000 years..." there are so many better and more believable reasons for avoiding the BIG QUESTION, so until you think of them, please, give it another look. it's not benny hill, it's not g.w., it's not that biblethumper you met on a plane (wow, he was really weird), it's not that girl you knew in 5th grade. it's not what you think it is. if i'm coming off to you as condescending, then fine. atleast let that be the drive for you to prove me wrong.
