:: spring break ::
it's funny how i dont even notice that it's spring break b/c i havent been doing anything for this past semester. awesome. and today i was looking at my calendar and i realized that i'm not gonna be at school for one full week EVER AGAIN! wow.

:: san diego ::
ok well i aready spent time blogging about this but it got erased (grrr..) so here is the cliff notes version. day 1 was all soaking up the sun, even though i'm still white as hell. that night had mondo good times (YOU KNOW) but *what happened in SD stayed in SD* so haha...let's leave it at that. day 2 was all about SEA WORLD!! wooooh it was off the hizoook. we got hooked up on everrrythign b/c we met this guy who works there and he hooked us up with all this free stuff. and with my super bargaining skills, we got our caricatures done for almsot half off. anyway, i loved sea world soo much :). that night, again, cannot be blogged about. sorry folks, that info is only for VIP subscribers. haha ANYWAY...day 3 we went to wildlife animal park! that was awesome too, but we were all soo tired that we couldnt realyl do much. we went on the safari thing and saw soo many animals. i was going crazy b/c iw anted to go there for the longest time. and then we saw this elephant show and the elephant took a huge dump and took THE HUGEST LEAK I EVER SAWED (so many errors in that sentence, but who cares) it was like a waterfall. ANYWAY, enough about peeing. i'm tired. so all in all, some real good times with my girls and then some.

:: investments ::
oh HELLLLLLL YEAH! so monday morning, i woke up at 6 in the bloody morning to invest. and so i played out our plan that we made, and looooong story short...i put in all our dough in this stock whose reaction to the war is reversed. so basically, we made mondo cheese in about an hour and our group went from deeeeaaadd last to second place! wooooh! but more than that, i am so happy that the plan actually worked. so i called gavin's house at 7 in the morning, but he was in virginia so his grandpa picked up and i screamed in the phone, "OH MY GOD! WE MADE SOOOOOO MUUUUUUCHH MONEY!!!!" and i think i made him lose his hearing. but gavin told me later that he was amused. hehe...anyway mad props to HIG :).

:: today ::
i mostly slept and rested. i went out to dinner with dan tonight and we went to burrito express with the BEST mexican food. yum. anyway, so as i was ordering, i glanced at the list with the weekly free dinner winners, and my name was on the list!!!!! i've only been to this place once before tonight, and that was a week ago with prescott jordan kate matt and them right before we went to the beach bonfire. i'm guessing either i or one of them put my name int he bucket, but anyway, so i got a free dinner tonight! i was so happy, that made my day. :)


:: my blogging... ::
yes i know. the quality of my blogumentaries is slowly declining. sorry guys. i usually only like to blog when i have really weird crap in my head that i wanna get out somehwere, but people have been buggin me to update and to post pictures, so yeah. i end up writing about how free dinner at burrito express was the highlight of my day. haha...when life gets to be flatline. even though the hyperlink does suggest that it's all supposed to just be smalltalk shooting the shit, i'll try to pick it up to make this quality reading. :)

:: and FINALLY ::
i must end this with a super dedication to my awesome friend lauren who got into...YALE! WOOOOOOOH! we're gonna be classmates!!! honestly, i gotta say that these days i havent really been hyped up about going to college. i'm lovin the high school life right now, and the thought of leaving the beaches, the weather, the family and friends, just EVERYTHING is really frightening to me. but when i found out that lauren is gonna be going to yale, too, i got really really genuinely happy. ahah..actually, i was in the car with lisa maya steph grace and jen on the way home from sd, and grace's mom called and grace was like "oh my god..." and she turned to me and said "iris, lauren got into yale" and i was so shocked and said really loud "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??!!!" and her mom heard :| oops. haha oh well, i'm soo happy and proud of you lauren!!!! you have worked so damn hard to achieve your dream. man, i am so happy for you :) we're all gonna celebrate tomorrow! wooh :) cant wait.
